Forgot to mention about holiday.

10 days flew by. Usually go on holiday for 14 so didn’t feel like we were leaving.

I conquered my fear of the ocean. Actually went in a swam a few metres before I started to panic that I couldn’t touch the ground.

We’d been going to the docks to feed the fish almost everyday and just watching all the pretty fish. There was even a puffer lerking around on the sea bed. We watched him for some time.

Went Siam Park again. Been every time we’ve been to Tenerife. So for 3rd time and it was still amazing even went in the big waves this time, was always scared past times lol, but I realised this time that I hated it previous times because I was standing where the waves broke, smashing across your face.
Didn’t go on the tower of power this year, didn’t go on it last time either. Once is enough for me. I still remember the first time how the guy asked if I was ready and I said no but he still pushed me. Screaming was a bad idea cos I then I couldn’t breathe with how fast I was going, then went I reached the pool at the bottom I completely went backwards under the water. I jumped up taking a big breath and looked up to find the life guard laughing at me.

We rented bikes which was so fun, road along the coast for about 5 hours. Was beautiful.

Fed loads of cats as usual.

And finally we went jet skiing. Doubt I would of done it if I didn’t go in the ocean first. Although I didn’t fall over and didn’t actually go in the ocean I would of been scared just knowing I could fall off.

That’s it really. We had fun :)

I’m currently in London! Came down yesterday to do a shadow a zoo keeper for an experience day.

Was the most amazing day ever! Hand fed loads of animals including red pandas, lemurs and meerkats! Was so fun having meerkats and lemurs jumping all over me.

Also held a cockroach and a tarantula. My heart stopped and I felt sick when one of the keepers took me in this room and said he delt with phobias. Couldn’t see the tarantula at first so felt relieved but then I saw it and I instantly felt like dying. Said no way but he got her out and I thought sack it I’m gonna do it, get over my fear. She was gorgeous, so gentle.

Learnt that what ever height you drop any spider at that it will kill them. Their skeleton is on the outside and so fragile. If you drop them, it could take 24 hours for the fall to actually kill them. They’ll run off looking fine but will actually die.
Completely changed my view on spiders. I always thought tarantulas were worse than house spiders but now it’s the opposite. I’ll most likely still run and hide from them in the house.
Just can’t stop thinking about holding it. Didn’t want to let her go! Definitely going to try and hold one again soon!

Stroked a wolf, was through a small fence but still an amazing experience. She rolled over and wanted her belly rubbed. She’s actually more dangerous than a wild wolf too because in the wild they are frightened of humans, but because she is in contact with humans often she’s not afraid of us.

Hand fed a racoon and coati. Feeding the red pandas were amazing. Also went dead close to the snow leopards, where just a fence separating us, was so tempted to touch it’s massive paws when he jumped up to the fence! So beautiful.

Held lizards, snakes, chameleon, gecko, baby owl and other owls and birds and more!

Today was a good day. Would love doing it again. :)

Richards at work and he set me the task of packing the suitcase for us both. I’ve packed everything I think part from a few things that I want washing first and Rics shoes, but the suitcase is less than half full and that’s for us both too. We both normall take more than what we need but this time trying not too. I just feel there is something missing. Sun cream and beach towels are already in too. umm.

Holiday in 3 days. Going back to Tenerife for the 3rd time. So excited. Really looking forward to going Siam Park again and eating giant pizzas. Yay!
